The Museum of Science and Industry STEM Network is a grassroots network of education stakeholders supported by the Museum’s Science Leadership Initiative. The STEM Network is a growing community of practice of schools, teachers, and administrators supporting each other in their common goal of improving STEM education at their local sites.
The MSI STEM Network’s online forum is organized by eight Essential Elements—Values, Collaboration and Planning, Curriculum and Instruction, Professional Learning, Communication, Technology, Partners, and Money—all identified by research as necessary for schools to create an exceptional learning environment for science for every child.
